The site, for the construction of the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs Regional Office in Soroti City has been handed over to the contractor SMS Construction Uganda Limited with instruction to start physical works immediately.
It shall be a three storied building, which is expected to cost a total of 7.3 billion Uganda shillings, and the whole project is estimated to take around 24 months to completion. Supervision of the project shall be by the Ministry Project Management Team, led by the Principal Assistant Secretary, Mr. Paul Muzaale together with the project consultants MS Oubuntu Consults.
The site is located at Plot 47-51, Old Mbale Road, in Soroti City and the handover ceremony was done by the Resident City Commissioner of Soroti City in the Presence of Ministry Officials led by Mr. Paul Muzaale, who represented the Permanent Secretary, and city officials led by the mayor and the deputy City Clerk.
