The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs members of staff have taken part in the 2024 edition of the Makerere run, organized by the Makerere University Endowment Fund. The theme of this year’s run was ‘run for students with disabilities’, with the proceeds to be used to fund the construction of a student’s center and the disability Unit at Makerere University.
The run took place this morning and was flagged off by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, the Hon Thomas Tayebwa, and runners where free to participate in one of the three routes available, i.e. the 21km, 10km and 5km. There was also a 3km run for the disabled.
